Customer Rating: Summary: Transformer toy Comment: My nephew is autistic and he love to put together Transformers together. He is very particular about the ones he wants and he wanted this one. He loved putting it together and playing it with the Transformer. I recommend this toy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Could have been better... much better. Comment: Payload is my least favorite Transformer that I have. I still like him and enjoy playing with him, but he just does not live up to some of the more awesome ones (like Swindle). Multiple parts of his body come off extremely easily, including his head, chest piece, and front gate on vehicle mode(which also has to be removed to Transform into robot, and I lost on the first day I got it).
I do not think this transformer is really worth the money if you are going to give it to a young child, and it will break the moment they open the box. But a collector will surely enjoy it.
Customer Rating: Summary: A good buy Comment: It's a little difficult transforming (at least for me!), but my son still enjoys playing with it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Underrated baddie Comment: I saw this transformer at the store and i liked it as an armored truck. It didn't appear in the transformers movie, but nevertheless i wanted it. It's a very nice surprise to transform it into robot ! He reminds me a lot of G1 Shockwave, with a single, menacing eye. It has several flaws: a lot of parts (the head, the bumpers, the hands) will snap-off too easily and you'll have to reassemble it once and again. It's top-heavy, so it's hard to pose it. And the feet are too slippery, so he falls down constantly.
...However.... it has so many little details that surprise you, that you can forgive his other flaws. The Claw Attack feature is very nice and fast, and adds a lot for playability. Sadly, it looks like if a steel beam found his way through poor Payload's chest forever. But its blue color, the appearing kneecaps, the hideout for the hands and all the details in the panels make up for all the defects. It makes a mean truck too.
If you are a collector like me, you can't leave this one out.

Two things are crucial to maintaining the Decepticon cause and the hunt for the AllSpark: energy and currency. Energy powers weapons and combat systems, and money allows the Decepticons to purchase modifications and integrate them into their bodies. Payload is tasked with seeing that Decepticon forces in need of either commodity get it on time and in full. He's armored and armed to plow through or destroy any Autobots that get in his way, and fast enough to outrun almost anything on the road. Convert this Decepticon figure from menacing robot mode to armored truck vehicle mode and back again! It features an Automorph attack claw in robot mode!
