Summary: Durability lacking!
Comment: My 3 year old got this for Christmas. He was playing with it on the carpet making the little man simulate picking up garbage when the little man's foot broke a hole right in the top of the truck. He wasn't being rough at all. The truck still works, but this product is a far cry from the Tonka trucks I remember.

Summary: Toddler Favorite!
Comment: We got this toy for our son who LOVES to watch the trash trucks come by the house to pick up the cans. This toy simulates the auto-lift trucks that reach out and grab the cans and conveyers them up to empty them. He LOVES this toy to death. The DVD that comes with the toy is also well worth the purchase price of the toy itself, so it's a great bonus.

Summary: Great truck, but it broke!
Comment: My 2.5 yr old LOVES this truck. He takes it back and forth from home to Grandma's house. The lame thing is that after just a couple weeks the piece that holds the garbage can onto the belt broke. I was able to fix it once but it fell off again. The little rod that holds the belt together is a bit scary since we also have a 11 mos. old crawling around. I had to hide the garbage can from my 2.5 yr old so he isn't reminded that his truck has broken. Definitely his favorite truck even if it is broken.

Summary: Boys Love Trash
Comment: My 2 boys love trash trucks. They spend all day hauling "trash" with it. They love to show me how to run the trucks. I was afraid that the wrong color would come through the mail, but the orange truck arrived safely and now sits beside 2 green ones and a red one. Still trying to pick up a blue one! The only down side is we go through lots for batteries.

Summary: Horrible Christmas experience
Comment: We were so excited to get this item for my son. He had seen it at the store and wanted it for Christmas. When he opened it he had a smile across his face and couldn't wait to start using it. We figured that being Tonka it would be well made. Needless to say it did not work great. He opened it, put the garbage can on the lifting arm and started driving it around the carpet. He made one trip around the living room and on the return trip he bumped the edge of the garbage can on the edge of a package. The garbage can snapped off causing the dumping arm to break from the lifting belt. The little piece of plastic that holds the dumping arm to the lifting belt is broken and there is no way to fix it. My five year old son disolved into tears and was sad the rest of the day. So far we have no idea how to fix it and he is still sad. That was his favorite toy he had gotten for Christmas and it lasted no more than five minutes. He was not being rough just pushing it around in a circle while crawling on his hands and knees. I am still shocked that it broke this easily.
