    This once a month event takes place at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach along the path where the ocean meets the cliffs. The event takes place the first Sunday of every month May through October with over seventy local artists and craftsmen selling and displaying their work. The art include paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass artist, textile, jewelry, wood and metal furniture, and much more. Along with the sale of fine arts, the event offers live music, hands-on children's activities, fresh flowers and plants, BBQ.

    The Exploration Station is hosting Super Sitter Class, instructed by the American Red Cross, Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Successful completion of the class will earn the participant a Red Cross certificate in babysitting as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified babysitter. Course includes: interviewing for a job, diapering and feeding issues, bedtime issues, first aid & safety and more. Each participant will also receive a Babysitterメs Handbook and a DVD. Youth must be at least 11 years old to take the one-day class, and the fee is $50.00, with babysitter kits available for an additional $10. You must be pre-registered as classroom size is limited. Please register by July 10.

Younger campers will spend lots of time on the gentler river ride, smaller slides, and at モCastaway Coveヤ with their group. Find whatever kind of ride will fit your speed. So get ready to have some fun and let loose while staying cool. From the highest heights to the gentlest adventures, there are plenty of rides for everybodyメs level.     Join us for a trip to the largest film and TV studio in Hollywood. Universal Studios has come a long way since it first opened in 1915. Today, movie-themed thrill rides and VIP backlot tours draw millions of visitors. All campers will go on a private studio tour where they can watch new productions being filmed and maybe even spot a celebrity or two! The backlot tram tour still takes you through such classic set pieces as モThe Collapsing Bridgeヤ and モThe Parting of the red seaヤ, but the real draw is the innovative special effects, packed attractions, and the thrill rides that campers will experience during this excursion.     The meeting place for all adrenaline junkies and coaster fanatics, Magic Mountain offers more G-force thrills per minute than any other amusement park in the world. Itメs won more awards and set more records than any other park in the world. Ride Superman, the worlds tallest and fastest; Riddlerメs Revenge, the tallest standup coaster; and over a dozen world-class coasters scattered throughout the park. If you are not into hurtling down a track at 90 mph, you can enjoy lots of other rides and attractions more to your speed, including Bugs Bunny World, Batman Action Theater, and The Movie District. This sprint distance triathlon (0.5 mile swim, 15.3 mile bike, 3.1 mile run) accommodates everyone, yet still provides a challenge for the novice and the experienced athlete.
